Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre Staff

Picture

Stu Cabe - Artistic Director
Stu began his professional theatre career with Coeur d’ Alene Summer Theatre during the 1986 season as a company member of CST’s The Carousel Players. Thirty-three years later, Stu has done virtually everything there is to do in the CST world, from performer to technician, director to board member and is honored to be the 6th Artistic Director in the fifty-two year history of CST. Stu met his wife Callie in 1994’s production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Stu and Callie have two teenage kids, Madison and Jack, and have called CDA their home since 2003. CST also opened the door to theatre education, Stu’s eventual double Master’s degree in education, his current “day job” as a full time youth speaker. Stu now travels the country speaking to young people regarding anti-bullying. Stu loves Coeur d’Alene and is grateful to all who support live theatre in this community…and beyond.

Chuck Ethridge - Associate Artistic Director
Chuck has been a performer since he was 4 years old. He performed in his first professional musical when he was 19 and has been hooked on Musical Theatre ever since. He studied vocal performance at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and did graduate studies in voice at the University of Idaho. He has worked extensively as a performer, music director, conductor, and as a private voice teacher. Chuck has lived in Coeur d'Alene since 1994, and loves the community of artists and the culture that North Idaho has to offer. The Coeur d'Alene Summer theatre is central to this community, and he is so proud to be part of it.
