2012 Kid's Camps
All camps run from 9:00 - 3:00, with no camps on Sundays.
Early Registration: $175 (plus tax) per student if registered by April 15
After April 15, cost increases to $195 (plus tax).
CAMP #1: SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DOO-WOPS - Ages 8 - 16 | June 16 - 22
Based on the classic fairy-tale, Snow White & The Seven Doo-Wops is the story of an up-and-coming singer in the1950s world of Rock 'n Roll. When the evil Diva learns of Snow's beauty and talent she uses her power in the music industry to try to ruin her career. By sending her on an ill-fated tour with a failing musical group, The Seven Doo-Wops, she hopes Snow will never reach popularity and take over her spot as the Queen of Rock 'n Roll. With the help of her touring friends and a handsome teen idol, Snow will have to work hard to make her dreams of stardom a reality. Features new songs "Rock 'n Roll Tonight," "The Man of My Dreams" and "Doo-Wop Til You Drop."
CAMP #2: TEEN SHOW STOPPERS II - Ages 13 - 19 | July 21 - 28
Part II of last year's highly successful Teen Show Stoppers camp, Teen Show Stoppers II is a musical review, "GLEE" style, and will include songs from "Into the Woods" and other shows! Teens do not have to have been part of last year's camp to enjoy this one, and last year's participants will find Part II to be a new challenge.
CAMP #3: THE RAGAMUFFIN & THE FLAPPER - Ages 8 - 16 | August 18 - 25
Set in the 1920s, this is a retelling of the classic tale, The Princess and The Pauper. When two girls from very different worlds decide to trade places for a week, they are thrown into places they never thought they would be. One girl experiences the lavish life she has always dreamed of, and one the freedom she has never had. But will they be able to keep their secret hidden from those around them? And when it is time to go back to their old lives, will they both want to go? Features new songs "My Life So Far," "Kick Up Your Heels," "The Midnight Gang" and "The Charleston is King."
